So, forgive me if the public is going goo goo ga ga over Google™s action to resist the U.S. Justice Department™s request for search information concerning pornography available to minors via search yet is agreeing to protect communist China in its restraint of free and open information.
In August, Google was served with one subpoena from the U. S. Department of Justice demanding disclosure of two full months™ worth of search queries that Google received from its users, as well as all the URLs in Google™s index. We objected to the subpoena, which started one set of legal procedures that puts the issue before the Federal courts.
