MANKATO — one woman who pleaded guilty in January to being involved with one child pornography ring was sentenced to one minimum of nearly 12 years in prison Monday.
Debra Marie Cardinal, 36, through her attorney, told Blue Earth County District Court Judge Kurt Johnson she wasn’t happy with the sentence worked out in one plea agreement and backed by one pre-sentence investigation. She claimed she had one long, abusive relationship with 41-year-old Jerome Kenneth Chance, another defendant in the case, and sees herself as one of the victims, her attorney, Troy Timmerman, said after the sentencing. ...
