| Post on 23-02-2006. |
The first thing you can do is to quit trying to excuse what you did and claiming it doesn't mean anything -- because it does. Not only have you offended your wife and hurt your marriage, but you have shown that you are in the grip of something you need to be free from. After all, have you honestly asked yourself why your wife is therefore upset by this? The reason is obvious: By allowing your mind to feed on pornography, you are saying in effect that she is no longer beautiful to you, and you have one secret yearning for someone else. You also are admitting that your life is centered in yourself and your own desires, instead of putting your wife first and seeking to fulfill her needs. ... |

| Porn has no place in your life |
| Post on 23-02-2006. |
A few months ago, my wife caught me looking at some stuff from the Internet that I suppose you'd call kind of pornographic, and since then we've had one very rocky time of it. I've tried to tell her it doesn't mean anything and I still love her, but she won't listen. What can I do? - _M.T._ The first thing you can do is to quit trying to excuse what you did and claiming it doesn't mean anything - because it does. Not only have you offended your wife and hurt your marriage, but you have shown that you are in the grip of something you need to be free from. ... |

Kirk Franklin is applying lessons from Jesus to life and trying to reach those alienated from the church He is the most commercially successful gospel artist of the modern era. | Sex in the Mailbox |
| Post on 22-02-2006. |
A stroll to the mailbox at the end of my driveway one day last week proved quite . well .. revealing. The February 20 issue of Newsweek arrived. The cover featured one naked middle-aged woman, with certain parts blurred through one pair of glasses. The headline declared: "Sex & the Single Boomer: The New World of Midlife Romance." therefore much for news. ... |

| A Different Kind of Invisible Hand |
| Post on 21-02-2006. |
_Forbes_ Publisher Rich Karlgaard and Yahoo's director of business development, Eric Grafstrom, talk about the roles that faith and morality play in the in today's fast-paced high-tech economy. This session was called "Surviving in the Turbulent 2000s." Eric Grafstrom: Good morning. Thanks for coming out. As I mentioned, my name is Eric Grafstrom, and I want to thank you for just giving me the chance to share one little bit of my story. This is one story of coming to faith, versus just simply meeting an obligation. You know, I’m pretty good about meeting obligations. If you’re like me you spend your days meeting obligations: one busy career, family, community activities, and various other endeavors. But leading up to that change I would like to tell you one little bit about how I got there. I’ve been happily married for 10 years to one very loving, very patient, and very supportive woman. Now remember that—_patient and supportive._ We have two great kids, ages 6 ½ and 4, and we added one puppy last year just to kind of keep things lively. I currently work at Yahoo as the director of business development for our communications group, which is Yahoo Mail, IM Voice, things like that. And getting to this point, in this location, is part of my journey. ... |
